Welcome to Leadership of San Benito County
Leadership San Benito County is a countywide leadership development program. Each year, approximately 30 people will be trained through this professional course of study. This 12-month program consists of 3 major components: community awareness, skills training and personal development.

Leadership SBC hopes to enroll participants who represent the diversity of San Benito County. When participants complete the Leadership San Benito County program, they will be empowered with skills, knowledge, and a better understanding of the needs of the community. Those who complete the course are expected to actively use the leadership skills for the benefit of their community.

Over the years, the Board of Directors has been requested to bring together our Alumni and offer continuing education on the valuable Leadership skills they learned through our program. Class of 2011 Recruitment
Recruitment has begun for the 2010-2011 program year which will kick off in September 2010. Applications need to be submitted no later than June 1. 2010. Tuition remains $1,200.00 and will be due by August 15, 2010.

"Welcome Sign Project" The Class is sponsoring a Welcome to Hollister sign. The 7’ x 12’ sign will stand at the north end of Hollister near San Felipe Road and Hwy 25. Read more...

Alumni News

On April 17th, Diane Ortiz, Class of 2008, received the Blue Ribbon Award from the Child Abuse Prevention Council for her work with children. In addition, on April 27th, the County Board of Supervisors recognized Diane for receiving this year’s award for her work with Hollister Youth Alliance. Congratulations Diane!
